A spacious, uncluttered, and stylish environment…
ABOUT US
Lyndon House
During the past century the house went through many restorations, transformations, and reconstructions. While some efforts were more successful than others, in 2000 the house was purchased by Anton Giovanetto who picked up the pieces and reassembled them to produce the beautiful structure that it is today. This process took great fortitude, skill and determination. Our guests tell us that the years of hard work were worth it – since the result is a spacious, uncluttered, and stylish environment where they can relax and have fun.

My interest in cooking and hospitality began at an early age. One Saturday morning I watched my older brother Mark and his friend Doug open up a can of Hormel chili. Ten minutes later their lunch was ready. Well, I realized I could do this. And the adventure began.
I’ve been involved in some form of Hospitality my whole adult life. For the past 23 year I’ve been the Innkeeper of the Lyndon House Bed & Breakfast. I’m proud to continue the tradition.

Education
My interest in cooking began when I was a teenager. Growing up in California brought awareness of the great produce and other specialty products we have available in the Sacramento Region/Farm to Fork Capitol of America. My experience as an old fashioned butcher was a great introduction into the chef realm. I learned how to respect proteins and developed a passion for charcuterie. I prefer to use locally sourced produce and specialty made products whenever available. The Kentucky Proud organization is a great way of showcasing the products grown and made here in Kentucky. I am proud to say that we will be working with local farms and using their products in the everyday preparation of our menu items.

I decided in middle school that I was going to be a chef. I took every home ec and culinary class available to me. The idea of being able to be creative each day and being able to watch people enjoy my creations excited me. After graduating culinary school and gaining some experience, my passion began to shift from Culinary Arts to Baking and Pastries. I am a perfectionist and I allow that to work for me in precision baking. While most of my life has been in California, I am excited to be networking, exploring, and experiencing all that Kentucky has to offer!
