As you can imagine, there is a lot of excitement and enthusiasm about the preparations for the Games here in Lexington, Kentucky, and throughout the equestrian world. "This is the first time that the World Equestrian Games will be staged outside of Europe," noted John Nicholson, executive director of the Kentucky Horse Park. "It will also be the first time that the Games are staged at a single venue. That's because there isn't another site in the world that has the facilities that are available at the Kentucky Horse Park."
At the Lyndon House we are very proud to play a role in this incredible event and eagerly welcome visitors from all over the world. Due to the unprecedented number of visitors to Lexington for the Games, there will no doubt be many different types of accommodations available at various quality, comfort and price levels. However, we are confident that we can offer our guests a unique experience at the Lyndon House because of its convenient location, the beautiful structure, and our desire to meet the needs of our guests. Our goal is to provide our guests with an extremely comfortable and very spacious place to relax and unwind each day after experiencing the crowds and intense excitement of the Games. The Lyndon House is located 6 miles from the Kentucky Horse Park.
The following information describes our rates and policies.

Room Rates (not including taxes):
* Keeneland (1 queen bed) & Lyndon (2 full) Rooms - $399 per night each
* Headley (1 queen) & Henry Clay (1 queen) Rooms - $449 per night each
* Belle Brezing Room (1 King) - $499 per night
* Shaker Suite (1 queen) - $549 per night
* Bluegrass Suite (1 King) - $599 per night
* Whole House Rental - $2800 per night
Minimum Stay: The minimum stay is 4 consecutive days.
Amenities:
* Each morning the Innkeeper will either prepare a
delicious breakfast or provide a breakfast buffet.
* Soft drinks & bottled water, as well as a variety of
cookies, brownies, fruits, chips and other snacks
are available at all times in the Gathering Room.
* The Lyndon House is wireless and has an
elevator
for our guests' convenience.
* Onsite parking and laundry facilities are complementary.
* Each room has cable TV and a DVD/CD player. For guest's viewing
pleasure the Lyndon House has a nice selection of movies on DVDs.
* The Lyndon House is in walking distance to some of the finest restaurants
in Kentucky, as well as the downtown nightlife.
* Conveniently located 6 miles from the Kentucky Horse Park.
Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking. The balance will be charged 90 days prior to the opening ceremony (09/25/2010).
Cancellations: The cancellation deadline for the WEG is 90 Days prior to the opening ceremony (09/25/2010). If you miss this deadline you will be charged the balance of the reservation.
Event Parking: Parking for these events will be handled in two ways: there will be limited spaces available for rent at the Park through 'Click and Park', or a free Park and Ride service is available - 2010 WEG Parking
Additional Person: Each room is designed to accommodate 2 persons comfortably. To add a third guest in the same room a fee of $200.00 a night will be charged during the 2010 WEG. Some rooms may not be suited for additional guests.
No Sub-Letting: A Guest shall not sub-let or grant any license to use the Premises or any part thereof without the prior written consent of the Innkeeper.
